I’m 35, but make references that only my boomer aged co workers understand. Not all of this advice is great here lmao

There’s a few gas stations in Adams County and York County that carry completely Ethanol free options. Most of the sheetz down here carry 90 octane ethanol free. I keep saying I’m going to fill my garden tractor with it at the end of the season, but it keeps starting with 3 month old E10 87 octane every spring.

That’s an entirely relatable feeling. I’ve been listening for a while, we subscribed to the Patreon so we could get all the other stories they have. It’s such a fantastic world with some amazing story writing, I’d die to see this as a TV series in some way.

I’m a huge fan of Old Gods of Appalachia as a horror podcast.

I’m kind of amazed nobody brought up the Dodge Neon. The change from the 99 to the 00, from a standard economy car standpoint was a MASSIVE difference. Framed windows, quieter/nicer interior, even if it was uglier.

Articles like this are a steady reminder of why I haven’t set foot in a car dealership more than necessary the past few years. Once this year to get a key cut from a VIN number, once last year to get a dealer only control arm bolt.

I fucking love Caravans/Voyagers. I bought an 89 for $900 in Texas in 2016, swapped a 5 speed in it at my buddies house after driving it around for a few months, and road tripped it home 1600 miles. Since then I’ve added 40K miles and it’s been the second most reliable vehicle I’ve owned. The mitsu 3.0 v6 smokes like

I don’t care how much it is, I would make that Nobe part of my fleet. The vintage styling, being small, and being an EV would be a great around town vehicle for me.

I absolutely thought it was.

This is sounding like the Lucid article’s comment section lol

I’m sure you stop to get fuel atleast once, and if you’re swapping to get breakfast, or lunch, you can stop for 30 minutes to top up the batteries in this to get you to your destination.

But sure, I guess it’s “not enough range” for your once a year trip.

I’m having a really really hard time thinking of an oil seal that alcohol being used as a fuel could cause an oil leak. Mainly since the fuel and oil systems never meet up.

As someone who owns multiple 1gn neons, I can confidently say:

I don’t think you can get the ZR2 with a front bench seat. A lot of the other trims do have a column shifter.

No column shifter?

My favorite car literally looks like some boxes put together, and my second favorite is a Dodge Neon. Anything past like 2008 looks pretty weird to me.

The Tesla is about 1000lbs heavier than a stock R35.

The police are just going to lie, instead of saying “They had a broken tail light” they’ll say “they appeared to be speeding” or “they changed lanes without signaling” or my personal favorite, “they were swerving”

First step is roll the window down!

Modified version of the way I’ve done it in the past.  I put something in the door frame (usually the spot just above my knee) and press against the top of the door.  Works like a charm most of the time.
