Reading some of these comments made me think about someone in particular that would hate this. My mother, she had her left arm amputated when I was a kid. She never had an issue with using a regular turn signal stalk. If she had to reach to the opposite side of a steering wheel and hope she could find the right button…

Although I could get used to buttons (or knobs/levers on other cars) I certainly would never prefer it.  Add this to having a yoke for a steering wheel and capacitive buttons, I’d be miserable as fuck for a while.

I truly loved the last civic’s design, very edgy, very abrasive, and one you would see in traffic and know, that’s the new civic.
