According to the trucksales.uhaul.com website you shared, they are selling the car trailers now! I’m not a fan of the trailers since they’re so heavy, but I do have a 4th or 5th hand 1980's Uhaul Tow Dolly and it’s been a champ for the $300 I spent.

With brown and blackouts still being a thing California will have to most certainly invest heavily in its own infrastructure to help this.
I joined an F&I group on Facebook (they also have a YouTube page to follow) just so I can learn their tricks better. It’s a cut throat business so it helps to know how the less honest people operate.
I didn’t know that Genesis was still a thing, out that they had made a manual transmission car. Kinda wish you had published that article 🤷♂️
It’s rare that a DKW reference crosses my reading, but man I was happy to see it. Back in the 60's (20 years before I was born) my dad bought a DKW 3=6 for $85 and drove it from Monterey, California to Greeneville, TN. The military had given him $125 to fly home and he opted to buy a car and take a road trip.
I haven’t got into twitch much yet, mainly since I don’t have time. However, this doesn’t make me want to get into it. A small SILENT banner with a streamer selectable location would be a good compromise, but a huge ass intrusive commercial for a chicken sandwich while I’m watching someone play Last Of Us would really…
Pickup trucks are standard cabs with an 8' box. This is a Ute at best.
I just switched back to a 1980’s alarm clock that does that annoying BEEPBEEPBEEP sound across the room from me. Forced me to stand up at 3:50 am. Works like a charm.
I take the family to a local drive in maybe once or twice a year (although I found a theatre that plays all 35mm films so that may change soon). We usually take our old caravan up there, park backward, fire up a Walmart $20 boombox and have a good time. It’s really something different and I feel like the older the car…
I don’t exactly agree with everything you said about Chrysler in the 90’s, but I may be biased since I own like 8 neons, a k car and a 1gn caravan. But man, I remember how mad my dad was when we saw one at the dealership when we brought our 97 Intrepid in for some service.
And here I was thinking this would be about the death metal band Obituary.
Yes the fuck I do. This is the holy grail of these caravans and I want to see MOAR.
I just had an idea:
Post this up on theturbo-mopar.com forum. The guys there love these quirky vans and would love to hear about your progress on it!
Boogers are the best! I have them in 4 neons, my grand caravan, and my SRT swapped LeBaron.
The rubber pieces from those motor mounts look like stock pieces, if you measure them I can compare them to my stock van’s mounts for you.
And luckily, the front wheel bearings are standard bolt-in pieces. Brap 4 of those bolts…
As a 80s/90s FWD mopar enthusiast, these diesel vans are a holy grail for me. I have a 5 speed swapped 3.0 grand caravan right now, but one of these would be TOP TIER for me.
Hopefully you’ll be able to enjoy it over there relatively easily, and even more so, I hope that you are able to get it shipped back home and…
Well great. I now feel better about making sure my AC works in my 30 year old commuter car for 90 minutes of one way driving.
He wasn’t going fast enough for it to show how they work. I hear the balancing beads beating around in my wheels until I’m going about 15MPH with a smaller tire. I would love to see the inside view at speed, but he would probably have lost the camera.
Man, I hope when I get a blowout it’s somewhere very public. People are going to be confused why hundreds of BBs are going to come rolling out of my wheel
Uh, excuse me? Where are the 4 ounces of balancing beads?
Truckers already had this super inflated sense of self importance before this crisis happened. It’s unfortunate they’ll be able to beat their meat about how essential they were during the pandemic in the future.
