Sweet! And if you decide to stop at a campground for a little while, you can dump the xB off and go foraging! Are you renting a tow dolly, or buying a cheap one?

Anything that is going to be in lemons will be under 2000lbs and possibly on a tow dolly.

Oh God I need to do this to my van. I have a 91 B350 (15 passenger van) and the cupholders on the dog house are fucking worthless.

You only asked why, so I only answered the "why" part. Didn't know you wanted more information. It's not usual, and you are right, but I currently own 4 of them, so it's not like I flip them right away.

I've driven a few sports econos, but I really don't like working on much else, and a neon handles and performs decent in stock form. A neon is really easy to work on, plus I have a multitude of cars to swap parts from. If I wanted bigger brakes I could use PT cruiser 10" brakes, or Dodge Daytona/Shadow knuckles to

I had an 04 Ram quad cab for a while, it was great, but the gas mileage wasn't so hot. It did tow amazing and was really nice to ride around in.

My current wanna-be race car is a 95 ACR Sedan. It was built on the "base" frame so there's no sound deadening under the carpets, and I've deleted the power steering and air conditioning. I love it, but I drove that car hard. Finally broke the clutch and transmission, and the motor started knocking around the same

The 3 speed automatics were terrible, even in the 1gn cars. In fact, a DOHC automatic was the slowest neon you could get, usually going through the 1/4 mile between 17.7 and 18.1. A 5 speed swap is usually the best mod you can do to an automatic car, followed by an upgraded ECU.

I currently own 4, so I only got rid of 5 technically. 1 is my daily, 1 was a parts car, and 2 need some work before they're going back on the road.

They're cheap, I know how to work on them, and I enjoy driving them. It's not really hard to figure out.

I've had mostly mopar stuff, but I do like other things, eventually when I can I plan on doing a 4.8 LS-1 powered S-10 that I'll certainly do dumb things with.

That's pretty great. Haven't done an SRT swap yet but my wife really wants me to srt swap our voyager pretty bad. Are you on 2gn.org?

HAHAHAHAHAHA

HE KILLED EM!

It's the same, they're really affordable and easy to find on craigslist.

I get it, I don't usually get along with typical SRT-4 owners. Then again, I had everything rev at me from a DSM to an s2k to an RX8. I usually had one of my kids with me so I wouldn't oblige them.

Ah, yeah, I probably have talked to him at some point, or replied to one of his posts. There's one of those mid-west guys that has had 40+ neons, mostly flipped them. There's another buddy of mine from Wisconsin who drives out to hang with us people from 2gn.org every year at the Chrysler Nationals at Carlisle in PA.

I had thought about going back to a stock surge valve, but I would need to put back on a stock air box and all that, and without the huge air box the bay looked a lot cleaner. Trade offs, I suppose.

No, it's Jerry. Does your friend Nick live in SC? If so, I probably used to talk to him online years ago.

And a cheap option for a lot of SRT-4 owners was to get the Mopar blow off valve, which will literally whoosh while in boost. I had an aftermarket BOV on my SRT and hated it, so I learned how to stay out of boost. Plus, it helped my gas mileage.
