Off-planet, it's not even just not-entirely-implausible, it's actually feasible. There are workable designs for space elevators for both the Moon and Mars, because the smaller sizes mean that we don't need to go with theoretical super-strong materials to construct them; materials we have today are strong enough to do

I'm tentative about it, but not for any good reasons; I loved Planescape: Torment, and a huge part of it was the writing and the characters and the story, but a huge part of it was also that I loved Planescape before I ever played Torment. Still do, it's still my favorite roleplaying setting overall and the one I've

It's criticism for me; game preservation is a legitimate issue, as much so as any media preservation, and the increasing prevalence of required continuous online connection is a huge problem there that because of the convoluted nature of US copyright still hasn't been resolved.

They shut down like 4 years ago, because (among other reasons) NCSoft didn't really have any interest in the American market and was redirecting all its attention to the Korean market.

But AM is still available, right? Wouldn't AM be a preferred format for the emergency situations you're talking about anyway, due to its wider transmission range? With FM you'd need to coordinate with dozens or hundreds of stations depending on the area you need to contact, but with AM you can do the same with much

I've literally never heard of that Riverdale, and I'd bet most people outside NYC would say the same. There are like 15 different Riverdales just in the US, because it's maybe the most generic name you can possibly have for a settlement near a river. That or "Riverside".

You're ignoring the possibility that someone could do wrong knowingly, and just not care about the moral position of what they're doing. That they could act immorally, knowing that they're acting immorally, and with no justification, just a lack of interest in the moral stance of their actions.

You're asking why there's so many Watchers when there's only one Slayer for the entire world? Doesn't that answer itself? We know that the Watchers aren't just about the Slayer; that's just what they were founded on, but it's not everything. Someone had to collect all that lore that Giles is always referencing, after

That foodborne illness statistic suggests that common sense or not, people should be saying it anyway.

Isn't that basically Fatal Frame?

Well, sort of. They weren't to fund the forts themselves; in fact, the colonials were actually charging British soldiers for basically everything they could during the French-Indian War.

To be fair, a lot of those malapropisms were likely put ons for appearance-sake, to cultivate the whole "good ol' boy" image. He didn't really do them back when he was Governor of Texas or during the original 1999 debates.

There's always the "Recommend" heart! Just under the number of comments count at the top.

I believe you mean a hot water jack.

Is that actually true? Because that's a little heartening to hear.

Huh?

Why is "asshole", an insult that millions of people use every day for the smallest of reasons, a better choice than "neo-nazi" to describe these people? Doesn't that just diminish how horrible they actually are? Isn't that just indicating that they're not really any worse than some random person that did something

I can sort of see what you mean, but the Method, like all acting philosophies, is supposed to be an internal thing. What you're presenting as potential counter-arguments aren't what I'm saying at all. I'm saying that once it crosses the line from being internal to being external, that that's out of line, regardless of

I meant that when directors force it on actors, it's not the Method, it's just being an awful person because you think your actor isn't good enough on their own. That there's more to the Method than "MAKE IT REAL". Sorry, I should have made that more clear.

Actors choose to be Method or not, directors don't force it on them. The existence of Method acting has nothing to do with this.
