So … Fitz. Fuck that guy, am I right?

This was an excellent season of television. I love the bookend nature of the pilot and this finale, with Jake and Holt having come so far that he's willing to get himself fired from a job he loves and is good at just on the strength of his trust in Holt. In the pilot, he didn't even want to put on a tie when the man

Right? I was not buying what he was selling during his time on SNL, but he's done really good work on this show, both as a comedic actor and a viable romantic interest. By the time he started showing Santiago how to rumba, he was almost attractive? I don't know what to do with that.

Terry is the only person in the world who can refer to himself in the third person and still retain my devotion.

I was first exposed to Terry Crews's versatility in the late, lamented Everybody Hates Chris, where he was similarly allowed to be loving and protective, but also a tough father figure, and with funny character quirks. So he and Andre Braugher were the main draws to this show for me, cast-wise, but they are each more

Awww, Beatdown Boulevard, it's the toughest street in town,
and if you step to my gangster crew, then you're bound to get beat down,
uh-huh-huh-huh-huh.

That was ridiculous. Wasn't one of the clues "sore ___"? Ooh, what could it possibly be? Sore ear?

Even though the possibility of a child who's currently 12 years old knowing and loving Blossom enough to make that video is slim to none, that was my very favorite part of the episode.

At last, my long, personal nightmare is over.

He did hold for laughs, and I liked that none came.

"Oh, it's not prying. I want you to know this."

"Cantaloupe. Yes I can!"

It was an excellent exchange, but for me it was topped by the shot of Holt burning that notepad.

I don't know why, but I just really love tone-deaf Jamm constantly thinking that he and Leslie are best friends.

Even if she turns down the job, which would admittedly be insane, I'm choosing to have faith that it's a misdirection. I don't think they would've done that whole plot with Jen Barkley about how Leslie deserves better than Pawnee if they didn't have something coming down the pike to go along with that.

Yeah, I think they're headed in this direction. I noticed during her talk with Leslie about how Pawnee is full of goons, her nameplate said "deputy director." I thought I missed some sort of off-screen job-related shake-up. Hyphen.

I'm getting the sinking feeling Enlisted is going to be the Ben & Kate of this season. Remember Ben & Kate?

I do love B99, but I retain my enthusiasm for Parks, too. It still reliably makes me laugh, and I'm happy to still have it around to watch and enjoy. There are things about it that aren't perfect (like the ascension of April and Flanderization of Ron), but I love all the characters, they get off some good jokes each

And he hasn't really even been using it long enough to matter. I don't know why Arthur is getting all this attention after a relatively short run, but it irritates me even more that he is. There have been annoying, strategy-employing Jeopardy winners for years and years. There's an Arthur every season. This guy
