Adult Hallowe’en is awesome! I live in a dense urban area without many kids and it is awesome seeing usually stuffy adults let loose, dress-up and relax. But to each their own. I don’t like that holidays are often branded as kids days - Adults want to relax, have fun and mark the passage of time as well :-) We are

When I toured it the tour guide said that she was haunted by all the people killed by the rifle

Good point! It would be difficult to fit all those in a studio apartment! My place is 620 square feet and I don’t have closets but the separate bedroom does help significantly

This is totally my wheelhouse!

I am a youngish, average looking women and I love going to bars by myself. I have never been hit on. Maybe I am not as average looking as I think ;-)

Favourite guest start/recurring character - Will Arnett and Cloe Moritz

Together 18 years but not married :-)

I have a boy and a girl (lucked out with that one) and we decided that all girl children would have my last name and all boy children would have his. This is normal to me because I have a different last name than my brothers and it wasn’t an issue at all.

You mean I can’t keep groceries on the floor, in the grocery bag - where have you been all my life! Surprisingly, I do know how to store produce :-) but it often doesn’t last. Tomatoes get mould, berries get mouldy, lettuce wilts - it is the story of life. Apples and citrus do last longer, I will give you that. Also

A quick scan shows that is almost entirely white, middle-aged establishment artists. I only counted 6 that don’t fit into the category: Lisa Corinne Davis, Roberto Juarez, Dread Scott, Barbara Takenaga, Kara Walker and Jack Whitten. There may be more but I am not keen to do a big google.

For me Blue Apron and services like this are so valuable.

I would love to dress like that, especially if I was a spy ;)

The last two items in the list above are tied together. I think 95% of Oxford comma issues can be fixed by a simple reordering of the list without any extra visual clutter.

Weirdly I find it worse in the more progressive cities. I am from a conservative city and I recently moved back and I almost never get asked (late thirties and I have been with my boyfriend for 20 years). But when we lived in more progressive cities people asked us all the time. I have no idea why. . .

I think this fad is largely because, among a certain subset of the population, New York is presented a the pinnacle of cities. There is a lot of city pride and a lot of people who covet living there. To people with contrarian tendencies, and I admit I am one (it is definitely one of my most annoying qualities), it

There is a enormous benefit to the UK from the monarchy well outlined here:

It is funny how differently an actor can be perceived. I always thought of him as a sweet, loveable goofball who also happens to be incredibly attractive. But I am also Canadian so I am biased

I use it all the time, I guess I never really felt it was ‘that’ bad. Maybe I should watch myself more

Sometimes it is hard to tell which movies will be a better experience in the theatre. When I saw Hidden Figures - everyone started clapping at the end, some with a standing ovation and we were all talking about it (amongst strangers) at the end. I feel like seeing it in the theatre and the communal experience of it

Yes! This exactly!
