…and that medication guy also had connections to hardcore bands! (funding Geoff Rickley's label). This goes all the way to the bottom.

This just blew my mind.

Always a relief when there's a shot of Jason walking outside in the sun, and not subsequently bursting into flames.

I never really understood how this is any different to the rest of their catalogue, if you turned the gain up then it would sound identical to everything else they've done. It's solid enough, and the only two genuinely bad songs are Hold On and Jackass. I don't know if it was only in the UK, but my copy has a live

Honestly, the way this show goes above and beyond the premise - which would easily be enough on its own - is so commendable. The attention to detail blows my mind. I'm sure there'll be a third season, Kent Alterman at CC is a huge Andy Daly fan (which is why Review exists to begin with).

I kind of want Harmon to write an out-and-out drama show next.

Is everyone down with 'Rejuvaughnation' as the new McConassiance? It's the best I've got.

This is the first episode of the season I've totally lost myself in, even watching it immediately after the latest Hannibal didn't diminish my enjoyment. Great hour of TV.

This can't be as bad as it sounds, so i'm really intrigued.

Spot on with Bachelorette > Bridesmaids. Great film even if you're not pretending it's a feature length Party Down.

Tweedy would definitely have been a better single disc, as I think is the case with most double albums. Whole Love is really great.

He's always astonishing on the podcast, lightning fast. On par with Sean Clements from Hollywood Handbook.

I know I'll watch this through until the end, but the thing that grates on me most is that every character outside of the main four seems to speak with exactly the same voice. Pizzolatto's worse than Sorkin in that regard.

Does this not have weekly coverage? This seems like total AV Club fodder. Second episode was great, not sure how often they can pull out these ridiculous cliffhangers though!

I think you just named my Death Cab tribute band.

I love the first three records, I listened to Nothing Left To Lose on repeat while studying for my exams. One By One just didn't grab me, and neither's anything else they've done since Chris Shiftlett joined, so without any evidence I just assume he spoiled everything (I'll concede to liking a large portion of Wasting

Yeah, there's no chance in hell that this true.

I think it helps that the production on TSOPTC still holds up, whereas even at the time Original Sin sounded like a late 80s dischord album.

Weirdly his two are some of the more straight ahead rock-y stuff, 366 especially sounds a lot like the title track from TSOPTC.

This and the new Refused record are making me very happy indeed.
