There is something to be said about the relation of both stats. However, if you sort by either total rush yards or pass yards you’ll see both elite and mediocre teams at the top. For example, Jets and Oakland are the top 2 defenses in rush yds allowed. Denver and Tennessee are the top two agains the pass.

The lone stat you gave isn’t even right. All you know is their defense is terrible and/or the worst. Your belief is so devout you don’t need any reasoning, stat or explanation to support it. I’m sure you’d make a great Christian.
