I wholeheartedly believe that "cheap" cameras can take better pictures than expensive cameras. I have taken award winning pictures with my Sony Cybershot (DSC-S40)4.1 Mega Pixel camera. I paid under $100 for it, so i consider it relatively cheap compared to other digital cameras.
