I wonder if Bolt owners would qualify to lemon their cars? I get that GM is doing what they can at the moment, but if I’m an owner only being able to use a narrow range of my battery, the hassles of keeping it parked outside and away from other vehicles (if that’s even possible) and the unknown timeline for when I

Tesla has had a bunch of fires to the Bolt’s 13. The PR for GM has been much worse though.

Current new cars will be a nightmare to repair when stuff starts to go wrong.

Not even close. New cars are better in basically every single way.

How big is it using Ford Escape, Mustang Mach-E or Explorer for comparison?

A) This thing is an amazing time capsule

Someone in those comments also said you can’t drive in 4wd, which is bologna.

So much this. Prime it, Toyota.

I don’t understand how that’s considered messing up. Expecting a wide angle lens to do macro shots is a silly thing to expect when it literally not what’s designed to do. I don’t expect my $800 Sony 35mm/F1.8 do it, why would I expect my iPhone to do it.

It’s jalopnik. Facts are not really important. Clickbait sells ads.

It’s funny that you’re nonplussed about the ProMotion screen. It’s like the big con every year for iPhones: “when are we going to get a high refresh rate display?!”
When it reality, most people don’t care. It’s only the tech reviewers who are clearly out of touch with the general public (is that all tech reviewers?)

It’s been disproven many times. Toyota’s system is parallel sensors and it’s not a system that can be effected by rf. It really was the drivers. Just like Audi. It’s just idiots like this author who keep perpetuating the myth. Those cars are still all out there. But magically it’s resolved?? (It never existed). And

If you’ve ever used an iPad Pro and noticed how smooth its ProMotion screen is, get excited.”

I’m not sure if I 100% agree with the pickup-in-the-snow comment. Yes, the weight balance is not as good, but I currently have a pickup and an alltrack, both of which run snow tires. I find the truck to be better in the snow because of weight. The rear has a limited slip to deal with any traction loss but the truck

This is the 2021 version of replying “First” to an article.

More people off road their jeeps ( yes I know this is about broncos but similar enough) than sports car owners track day their cars yet there is so much hate just aimed in just one direction.

Writing mindless QOTDs to scrape into slideshows later

Agreed. If they were really dead set on making a separate brand for their electric vehicles, I wish they would have bought Saab and relaunched them. Volvo and Saab together just seems like the most appropriate automotive match.
