I’m probably in the minority but I think it’s the best looking car under $75k. C8 is one of the ugliest. Best looking BMW of the past decade.

This would be an all time great had Toyota just shoved a 6MT in there. BMW makes this same exact car with a stick, blows my mind Toyota doesn’t do it.
Hell, it doesn’t even need to be with the I6. Would be find with a 6MT + i4 Supra, plenty powerful.
They are okay looking in person surprisingly. I think it has to do with them being physically much smaller than you expect based on the photos.
$7000 if you want it, $10,000 if you don’t want it.
Just using the stock price as the only metric fails to look at the broader picture is a narrow view of how corporations utilize scarce resources.
What would Tesla stock be up if it didn’t have SolarCity? Was the cost of buying SolarCity the best use of funds? If the investors can show a plausible better NPV of that money, than yes, monetary damage was caused through a conflict of interest.
Oh, some Musk-lovers will come to his defense and then, start a new bible, Gospel according to Musk.
Staying in the left lane
My issue with the Ridgeline is that real world dollar for dollar, you’re paying a decent premium OTD for one over whatever domestic half ton.
Such astute folk might be have both net worth and liquidity that lets them pay cash for a car (if that’s what makes sense for them). However, I suspect that most of those people would be on the teacher’s end of the log
A good portion of the population doesn’t want to live like that, even if it was affordable.
This right here. I’ve built most of my net worth using other people’s money. Loans, if used correctly, are a wonderful tool. My 0% car loan? That’s 40k in cash I can use for wealth building. Cash now is better than cash later.
I am sure the three unibody they are talking about will be a Dodge Dakota, some variation of that Dodge 700 thing, and a Durango.
What are you talking about? They obviously will build the RAM 1500 on the Body-on-frame EV platform that they have in the picture. The photo is a dramatized design sketch, they never have any real relation to what the final vehicle looks like.
I’m holding out for the future manual version, but TBH it was so damn good when I tested one, I might even pull the trigger on the auto someday. And I’m a die-hard #savethemanual person.
Counterpoint: I never had a problem with Mustangs, until I rented one for a week long vacation. Jesus what a piece of garbage. “completely intoxicating”? I have no idea how anyone could ever come to that conclusion.
