There's poignancy to an old nihilist filmmaker spending his late years finding different ways to light a 20 something actress's breasts? Poignancy? Come on, Hassenger. Poignant would be Allen working with Diane Keaton again. Won't happen. She looks too much like what he is desperately avoiding. Poignancy?!!!??

Jeffrey Wright rising up on a horse and tipping his cap like Zorro, with tears of gratitude in his eyes, is pretty much the most cathartic moment I can think of in movies in the last 25 years. Hassenger and the film critics of today are guessing in the dark.
