I dunno, visually it looks a lot like Ys 3 to me. It seems... fairly similar in style to Ys 3 too. Which isn't to say it doesn't look like SOTN/Super Metroid style... but they're all kind of the same style. I am confused on what your post is exactly talking about.

Even with a stick it would have been slower than a mouse. Maybe with a few iterations it could become better, but the aiming is no where near as precise as the mouse.

I do indeed have a couple/few move controllers and they're okay, but poorly supported. Certainly not better than a mouse... don't be ridiculous.
