Clearly she is wearing the best armor in the game.

I just mean what about it is scary, more directed towards someone who finds it scary. I'm not trying to belittle someone else's fear - I know a guy who gets seriously freaked out by cabbage patch kids and my girlfriend is deathly afraid of spiders - I am just curious as to the root of the fear. I just find it

Oh I know I dont find most things scary, but I find what makes things scary very fascinating. So my comment was more in the vein of is this just some basic fear of the unknown kind of thing or is there something I am missing kind of deal. As to what game is scary for me... uh when I was younger phantasmagoria scared

I watched some of the videos and stuff, and I suppose I understand the why, I just still do not find him very frightening. For some reason he conjures images in my mind of the death by spoon videos.

Yeah that's what I feel like. The setting doesn't seem bad, but slenderman is about as scary as my dog. (He's a little corgi... and he has heart shaped markings on his cheeks)

I am simply stating that his physical design is overly lacking in anything remotely close to scary. The overall setup is simple and cliche, certainly not bad things in a horror setting, but the actual creature himself is about a silly a thing as I've ever seen in horror.

While I appreciate good Lovecraftian Horror, I just don't really get it out of slenderman. His design seems stupid and just... not really any sort of scary. A normal person seems more frightening than his design.

I do not understand how this is scary

Not everything is for everyone, if you don't like it it is no big deal. Its a game - if you don't enjoy it don't make a chore of it.

Why are protagonist and antagonist automatically the hero and the villian? Maybe her issues stem more from overly negative views about rather common occurances rather than casting herself as an accidental villain. While I guess it is sort of an interesting thought, it doesn't seem to me like a well thought out theory.

You're judging a film through modern eyes that was released like 35 years ago.

I was sitting playing Ni No Kuni the other night with my gf and was telling her that the sad thing about a lot of games like this is there is no jump function which would really liven up the running across town and world map for me... then 5 minutes later we arrive at the main town and I find I can unlock the ability

For those saying use tostito's scoops or some other bought bowl nacho be aware that you've probably never had home made nachos and take my word for it that you can make them much better than what you buy in those bags... not that these are exactly home made, but still an improvement over dumping some chips on a plate

o.o 4chan influences most of the internet on a oddly large scale... I am sure they have influenced (indirectly) ads before, and I doubt very much they won't in some way again.

She doesn't look tan enough IMO

Ys game =D YS GAME!

Actually I'm pretty sure companies are people now.

There was a phantasmagoria 2? Weird.

You break that disc in half those shards can be pretty sharp.

Most of those weaknesses are something born in the past 100-150 years of literature and don't really have much bearing on what it is to be a vampire. Vincent fits the picture of a Gothic vampire in pretty much everything - I'd say he's more a vampire than most popular fiction depictions in the past decade.
