Although Scion may be dead, hope is not all lost. The FR-S has been moved to Toyota as the Toyota 86 and since this is based on the FR-S, then it is not hopeless but that said, I doubt Toyota will produce it.

Scion is but model moved over as Toyota 86 so shooting brake would still be a possibility but I doubt it.

Technically, 1986 1/2 is called a Supra. There was an 86 Celica Supra produced and the Mk III came out as a mid year replacement as an 86 1/2.
