By design of the police. By design of the police it is.
By design of the police. By design of the police it is.
Yes, scroll down, I agree and this has been discussed.
That’s a dumb take. Made by someone who values self-congratulations more than human life. I won’t tell you to fuck off, but I will ask you to evaluate yourself. How much are you helping people vs. making yourself feel good by positioning yourself morally above others?
*sniffles*
There is a race aspect, but what good comes from diligently fighting against the idea that this police brutality happens to white folks too? The way I see it, either misguided “moral superiority” or more nefarious division. You see, the police love the concept of police brutality being a racial issue. That means…
Nah.
I agree, it is pathetic. Alt-right trolls aren’t helping.
Citation?
Yes, if you read what I wrote I said one aspect (race) has become the entire issue. That isn’t an argument that the aspect (race) doesn’t exist.
And that is by design. I’ve had two white relatives killed by police. One probably brought it on himself, the other absolutely did not. Neither were big stories outside the immediate community, neither resulted in any discipline of the officer.
Yes and the point is that the police want it to only be the issue of “too many black people get shot,” because even though white people should care regardless, many are ambivalent, many even celebrate it.
Well put, feel free to speak for me.
“the desired effect”
I’m not writing for an academic journal here ya putz. But nice to see you are focusing your time on asking for Internet comments to be bluebooked.
Try google or just scroll down. Though someone said it was 39%, which doesn’t change the underlying point.
Yes, as a matter of fact.
The second one, though I would say “only focusing” - the racial component should definitely be part of the issue, if for no other reason, then because it’s the truth and the truth matters.
It means that given the opportunity to make things better or pat yourself on the back, you choose the latter.
I agree with you for the most part, but your first sentence isn’t quite true. For many people, mostly white people who think police brutality either doesn’t exist or is way overblown, the issue of police brutality is only a racial issue.
