I will never stop being sad over the cancellation of Samantha Who.

I liked this when it was Samantha Who.

Kid Detectives! “2 Muslims attending the State of the Union? 2 Ben Carson staffers resign? 2 + 2 = 4! 4 Washington Avenue! The next clue is at the White House!

I have loved Kristen Bell without reservation since the Sloth Meltdown.

ive been seeing a lot of “it was the 70s!” like fucking drunk 13 year olds was cool then or something

I’m gonna miss Obama. I think, once the shackles and limitations of being Potus are gone he’s gonna do his best work for this country, much like the wonderful Jimmy Carter.

The thing about Cheesecake Factory is that it’s the living embodiment of meal compromise. Their menu is absolutely massive and draws from pretty much every kind of Americanized food out there. A look at the “specialties” section of their menu has Americanized versions of dishes from all of the following cuisines:

Ummm no. I actually work in the forensic field as a social worker. In what way did me spreading actual research serve as this being an endorsement for this behavior. Everyday I work to make sure these people are watched, treated, and it never happens again.... but thanks for assuming the worst.

Thank you. I have a litter of rescue puppies here now, free to good homes. When people ask what kind of dogs they are, I tell them,”Healthy and well socialized. Small and cute.” If people need to know exactly what kind of dog they are getting, they are asking the wrong person. They are different colors. They are

Does it bother me when people dote over their pets to the extreme? Not in the least, and I’d be a hypocrite. What does bother me is the false equivalency between pets and children, but not for the reasons you might think.

“Love. I don’t mean to appall or offend, but I feel love is love. When people brag about their children doing things, I refrain from telling similar stories about my pets ***because I’m socially skilled,*** not because I feel it’s an inaccurate comparison.”

THIS HAPPENED TO ME. With a cat I found outside. And I didn’t like cats. We are now best bros.

I think how people treat their pets forms a continuous spectrum and is not a dichotomy like you suggest.

I really don’t think it’s that simple.

I’ll be honest, I have never, nor will I ever, understand people in category 2.

My deep, dark secret that I kind of resent having to keep a secret is that I flat out do no like dogs. At all. I don’t find them cute in the slightest. I find them to have gross habits and any time a dog’s wet nose touches my hand I feel

a Kinsey scale of animal husbandry?

I think I’m somewhere in between. So I guess no, I don’t think there is that one stark division. I think it’s a continuum.

I dress my dog too. he genuinely seems to like it.

I’m pretty solidly in the second camp but I also recognize that my dog is going to die at some point in the next ten years. Some people are in total denial about this and it makes me worry for them a little bit. When my dog dies I will go get another dog. Part of having pets is embracing the life cycle.

Yes I have seen that happen and really hurt people. Someone loses a relative and then another person talks about how their cat also had cancer and died and you are like...
