My 2014 Kia engine threw the rod bearings at 67K miles and was using oil too. Luckily, Kia replaced the engine with a new long block for free. That was just a couple months ago. My son has a 2013 Kia with 120K miles on it and so far it’s not using oil and I have him check it every other gas fill up.

IMHO, Musk has absolutely no desire to own Twitter. He’s running one of the oldest scams there is - buy a minority stake in the company; make a lot of noise about buying the whole company and firing all the leadership because reasons; force the company to buy out your stake at a hefty profit.
