I’d rather have someone call me stupid than make it harder for me to vote. Also, you didn’t actually respond to the substance (big surprise!) of JescoWhite’s argument - that unprepared or “stupid” or whatever people are still citizens and that we should make it easy for all citizens to vote.

Let’s bring back literacy tests and just totally disenfranchise the fuck out of people, as long as we’re imposing arbitrary restrictions on voting. Everyone must meet MY!!! standards for intelligence before voting, just because I said so.
