I agree but I think Sanders is actually the best pick for the general election for a number of factors - one most of america actually supports his policies - http://www.salon.com/2016/01/16/ber…

I’m new enough that I didn’t vote in 1972. From my reading though the 1972 McGovern election sounds quite different and sounds like he had a lot of issues with his campaign, lack of media-awareness, having to flip flop and replace his VP pick... and not even really winning the nomination with outright votes. His

“You should have supported someone with integrity instead of a lying shitbag like HRC,” one Berniebro commented.

If you actually look at the Mashable story that quote comes from you’ll see that “Berniebro” was someone on facebook called Carol.... Please stop this stupid sexist stereotyping trying to call everyone

Your “facts” need some help.

Sanders shows how he will pay for all of his programs without creating a hole in the budget. Many economists endorse his proposals including former secretary Robert Reich.

Sanders has much more experience than Obama had and has been one of the most effective senators in history in terms of

“Bernie has only gotten positive press” really?? You missed the big WSJ hit piece on him? I think more of Sanders press is negative than Hillary’s, so much stuff about him being a socialist and not electable. About his policies not being practical about the cost of everything etc. etc. See you even bought into some of

He has the same foreign policy has Hillary with a few minor differences - Sanders thinks we should deal with ISIS first then Assad (Hillary thinks we should do both at the same time) Sanders is against a no-fly zone in Syria, Hillary is in favor of one.

I think there are certainly policy reasons for voting for Bernie but not Hillary if she is the nominee. Trump is likely to pick up some of those votes since he speaks to the same disenfranchised angry voter just directs them to a different place. Trump also is arguably less controlled my money interests if voters care

I hope you don’t let someone’s supporters dictate who you vote for. If it was Ben Carson vs Hillary with the KKK supporting Hillary would you really say that the KKK ruined Hillary for you and vote for Carson? Honestly as disturbing as it might be if the candidate who’s policies you like has a lot of supporters who

I feel like that is just a silly assumption your making based on your stereotypes. I mean a lot of Sanders supporters wanted Warren to run and she certainly gets a lot more fired up and angry than Hillary does but I haven’t heard anyone especially any Sanders supporters, let alone a whole lot of people, call Warren a

That’s maybe one reason he has a better shot at winning the general election than Hillary. Independents support him and even some libertarians, people who wouldn’t call themselves liberal or progressive.

It makes me wonder if this silly stereotype even exists. That’s the problem with writing a whole article about a stereotype and then trying to find it.

Actually Sanders has been better about compromising with the GOP than Hillary. He’s gotten a lot done -

Why do you think she’s a better negotiator and will get more done with a GOP congress? Sanders has a much better record of working with the GOP and getting things passed -

Bernie Sanders is actually more electable. Polls better in general election matchups, is more popular among independents and is the only candidate on either side with a net positive favorability rating.

This is the problem with stereotyping people then writing a whole article on your stereotype. It’s just silly and a great example of how stereotyping is always bad even if you’re stereotyping white men.

General election poll matchup wise Sanders does better than Hillary. I know it’s early days though but I think both will beat any GOP candidate.
