You got that right. This is yet another unintended consequence of what happens when you turn a proven mechanical linkage into a switch.

Weird take that reduces down to “whataboutism.”

Not 23-inch wheels I can tell you that.

When Musk has been dead as many decades as Ford, then we can start separating him from the brand identity. The only part of Henry in the company today is the squiggle of a signature in the blue oval. Musk is still elbow deep in Tesla, and still actively causing real world harm. Give him a few decades of being dead,

ROFL you really think consumers’ opinion of a CEO affects their purchasing decisions?

It seems like every week there is another recall on a massive moneymaker for Ford. Has any other single car company bungled shit this badly in recent years?

I’m NOT a Musk defender, but

I mean I know it’s just a blog but goddamn hire a copy editor already.

One does not need to be an expert in a field to judge if someone else is good at a thing or not.  That’s kind of a dumb yardstick to measure a person’s opinion by.

The climate controls are software, no? That’s one area I’d still prefer to have physical buttons. But maybe I’m different than most there, as I futz with climate a lot during trips.

Good.

“Look, Son, we can play video games on my car now.”

I see nothing about this that makes it any better than just playing games you know on your phone.

In what way, specifically, does Costco suck? People like shopping there, people like working there. Their financials are solid...

Bro why you hate $5 rotisserie chicken?

You are the only person I’ve ever seen who thinks poorly of Costco. They are highly regarded near-universally and have been treating their employees well and standing behind quality products for years while their competitors argued over a race to the bottom. Everyone loves Costco, you are just weird.

It’s all wrong. Holy shit, how did they get it SO wrong? This is a BMW with bad proportions. Whatever else they have gotten wrong with their design language in the past, you could still count on them for great proportions. Those days are gone now.

The lead image looks like a bad car website’s rendering of what they

No they didn’t.

Modern BMW design language is the best thing that has ever happened (and continues happening) to competing automakers.
