Ready to do what? LOL. Finally, suburban moms can speed to the local Whole Foods, desperately convincing themselves they needed something “to see over traffic” with “intuitive infotainment” and “no don’t worry i don’t have a massive blind spot and reduced cargo space just look how cool my Coupe is”.

Manufacturer adds matte grey paint attempting to save a car that does not outshine the others in its class, hoping a paint color will make things better.

how about “great articles and summaries by great writers that were ruined by the terrible slideshows Jalopnik forces its writers to add”? that seems to be a theme

Actually the answer to both questions is no. I don’t even know where in this article it gives definite proof that it could happen.

If i combine the BZ4X and RAV4 Hybrid, I could have my wheels fall off AND my hybrid system shut down at the same time. Isn’t that awesome?

finally, i have a car big and heavy enough to weave through pedestrians on my way to the shopping mall, or after picking my kids up from soccer practice in my gargantuan mom mobile, convincing myself i desperately needed a 7 foot tall HYbRiD SuV. offroad ground clearance baby!

Finally found one of the “it’s still a Kia” people in the wild! I thought this day would never come. I am so happy to see there are STILL people out there stuck in “everything they make is a 1996 Hyundai Accent GL” mode. This is like witnessing a rare species.

If “Concept” was Jalopnik 4 years ago without autoplay videos, slideshows with ads, ads that literally remain on your mobile screen until you scroll halfway through the article, and an unbanned $kaycog, then I would buy the concept!

we decided any more images would result in them trying a slideshow and that’s something we don’t want

Never. If you’re a mobile reader, good luck. My phone literally does not load comments anymore. It’s really bad.

That’s like how people say “Jalopnik will stop doing slideshows”. Those will both surely happen in 2026.

the fact that he has NO idea how to spec his cars is even better.

What is this....? Is this what passes for Range Rover quality? Did anyone else notice this ridiculously bad fit and finish on that blue headrest?

They were Goodyear G399a LHS tires according to a closeup picture, which are long haul semi truck tires and not rated for 300mph...

You got this. Good luck w recovery.

agreed

Yet another example of WASTE. 9 foot long blind spot, shitty handling, worse mileage, another HUGE suv to block the road on the way to the mall - does anyone seriously need this?

Or why there’s a comma BEFORE the first set of parentheses in the article.

That one time i almost ended up in a Jalopnik slideshow. That was a close one.

a mazda 6 could handle the exact same thing. also, the “higher is safer” thing is not true for blind spots, handling, or manuverability in accident situations...this seems to be the mindset of everyone who buys an SUV to feel safer. lol
