Brewster’s Millions did it first.

I find myself watching the show just because I want to see it end. I don’t hate it, I don’t love it. But I feel like I have to finish it. I don’t think many people in the viewership are truly going to miss it. Not like folks missed Cheers or Seinfeld. It was fun to watch sometimes, sometimes it was agony. I get why

I recall the exact day in 2012 when I hit positive net worth. That’s with owning two cars (one with a payment) and owing on a home. No other debt. And now I’m in a situation where I can put 15% into my retirement and I’m on my way to being a millionaire in just a few more years, all while still in my 40s. I think it’s

this is the best show on TV right now.

Promythus - I can’t stop picturing Mike Tyson saying promises.

No wheel locking lug nuts? I know at the Honda dealer where I just bought a car they all had them on on the lot and you basically had to buy them. Or maybe these guys had a way around those. It would at least slow them down I would think.

this is just the stupidest thing I’ve seen in a while. Solving a problem that isn’t a problem is now the most cliche thing on lifehacker. So, if I want to have sprinkles with my ice cream I get to eat all the plain ice cream first and then I get a ton of sprinkles, with no ice cream, once I get to the bottom.  YUM!!!

After letting them pass it proceeds to drive in the bike lane? And it seems to decide to do that only after it sees the bikes (before that it was going to proceed in the lane it’s already in).  Even if the car decided it was going to turn, it decided to cross over the solid white line.

“There are separate camps for fans who like to know everything and fans that want an experience that involves knowing nothing, and entirely separate spheres of media to cater to both. Any contamination of one camp from the other will somehow “ruin” the experience in a way that destroys any possibility of enjoyment.”

I’m not saying I did this, but all you need to do is download the torrent then go to the walkway where you can get your phone out, sync to the movie, and watch it while in the bathroom.

in my experience, any game that self-proclaims itself to be ‘Zelda-like’ ends up being anything but and usually a terrible game.

Nice! Mine has the nav. I bought a knockoff DVD update for the nav to get it updated to 2014 map data (that’s the newest you can get) for $10 off the internet. Lexus wanted $300 to do this, and that was with a coupon! I’ve also replaced door locks on my own that have worn out for about $40. It only has 115,000 miles

I drive a 2004 Lexus GX470 and I plan to drive it another 10 years.  The thing is unstoppable.

My guilty pleasure has been watching ‘The Challenge’ and many of the shows those contestants come from. I realize it’s garbage but there’s something about easy to watch TV where I don’t have to use any brain cells to be mildly entertained.  I’ve even resorted to using a VPN to watch some of the UK shows for free.

You probably could have just stopped with ‘yes, you’re right.’  I was just stating facts about the numbers and that I have seen it reported differently.

it boggles my mind how few people understand this, or even worse, how it even gets reported on news outlets that people are ‘paying more’ in taxes this year. I don’t care what side of the aisle you are on, the facts are pretty clear that when comparing an ‘apples to apples’ income situation, taxes overall went down.

No, this is free regardless of income.  What you are referring to is the law that says it has to be free if you only make so much.  This company is making it free no matter what.

I have a fairly complicated tax situation (cashed out investments, wife runs a business, 3 kids with daycare expenses) and I have been doing my own taxes my entire life.  And I never pay.  I was using ‘TaxAct’ because they were totally free, no matter the situation, but then they went the way of TurboTax and HR

In other ‘no shit, Sherlock’ news, eating at McD’s every day will make you fat.

And I bet you rarely got 20%
