I have never seen an armed policemen in the UK except at a London airport once (I’m British). I travelled to Italy and they have people with HUGE guns all over Rome, really scared the crap out of me!

I noticed this as well in Italy. I’m from the UK but lived in Pisa for a year 2 years ago and there were always the men in Uniform around the tower. East Asian tourists would ask to have their picture taken with them and they’d agree!

Not to mention the oldies who dealt with the Blitz and blackouts every night. After 7/7 I remember an American journalist asking an old lady if people would now be living in fear of terrorism, and she replied “of course not, we’re British”. 

I think murdering children is also against their religion, but everyone seems to agree that ISIS are not true muslims (at least according to other muslims), so they are quite welcome to eat dead pig and wouldn’t be suprised if they do.

She’s not from Australia/New Zealand? That just blew my mind.

Although I like his voice, I think Harry is wasted on music. If it were up to me, I would cast him in a nice low-budget indie flick with lots and lots of gratuitous nudity...lounging about in bath tubs for 10 minute long shots and such.

I recently watched “The Thing Called Love” for River Phoenix. I know nothing about American country music...but sweet-Saint-John-the-Baptist, River was absolutely beautiful in that film.

I look at him and just see River Phoenix :(

I will be watching this for Alexander Vlahos’ pretty pouty face.

I’ve seen a few clips of Harry with 1D in interviews where he has outright challenged his band members when they made offhand sexist “laddish” remarks about women. Something I genuinly admire about Harry. Even if I am still a little upset that he cut his beautiful long River Phoenix hair.

Although I’m probably just about in the demographic to find him hot (although he’s slightly younger than me), I never found him attractive, until I saw 1D on Graham Norton (when Harry had the long hair) and thought, wow...he reminds me of River Phoenix all of a sudden. Instant attraction.
