I don’t care if it is about nothing...it is a TUNE and I have been waiting for this for ages. Not as much as I’m anticipating his acting role in Dunkirk, since it is genuinely a mystery if he can act or not, and since he cut off his beautiful River Phoenix hair for the part. Yes, I am probably too old to care this

Jonathan Pryce is always great. I recently watched Dark Blood (River Phoenix’s final film) and Pryce was spot on perfect in it, as was River.

I loved the first year (2006) with Noel and Russell Brand. “Wine gums envy pieces of rainbow”. Comedy gold.

Cole Sprouse looks like River Phoenix now. I didn’t recognise him. My taste in men is so basic :(

Oh River :( Seeing photographs of them together is still so heartbreaking. I just watched the gorgeous “Dogfight” and it really made me sad that he’s not here.

I had this sad moment the other day when I realised I’ve outlived River Phoenix by a few months and that I will just continue to surpass him until he looks like a little boy to me, instead of a beautiful man.

I can’t help it. I like Lana and her music. It’s all dreamy fantasy-fake nostalgia...like she’s waiting for James Dean/River Phoenix/Humphrey Bogart to come back to life and take her to the prom. In Lana’s world, everything is heightened and violent and seen through deliberately rose-tinted lenses. Her music reminds

Dogfight? :)

Yes. 4 of the 5 known vitims were recovered. 3 initially in the 1960s, at the time they were convicted. Then in the 1980s they confessed to 2 more murders and were both seperately taken by police to the moors to try to remember where they buried the bodies. They recovered 1, the body of a girl, very very close to one

This is what came to my mind too, as I just watched a documentary on James Bulger. (Being from the UK, this case is still imprinted on the national psyche). However, I think in their case, the time they did for the crime was about right. I know people get incredibly outraged that they were let out at all for their

when he calls Molly Ringwald a bitch in Pretty in Pink...that arsehole James Spader YES <3

me too. I remember watching this film over and over again age 15 just for Leguizamo. Harrold Perrineau is kind of tainted for me because of how many times he said WALLLLTTTT during LOST.

James Deen?

I just commented about It Follows too. That is absolutely my favourite horror film. It is so visually beautiful but the scare is very psychological and you cannot help but relate to the characters and see yourself in the same situation. I was paranoid for hours afterwards, always looking over my shoulder whenever I

For some reason I have always loved horror from being about 6 years old. I think maybe my obsession started when i vivited the York Dungeons (kind of like a permanent horror house I guess but depicting scenes of horror from history with actors etc. such as the black death and the fire of London and witch burnings) and

I don’t really know how I feel about this as here in the UK it is really popular to dress as native americans for fancy dress parties and nobody bats an eye.

Great story. It always amazes me how people say these things so casually, like “oh yeah that’s the ghost...don’t worry about them.” I posted my story too somewhere on here about when I lived in Italy in a house haunted by the landlords grandmother, and when I mentioned what I was seeing to my housemate he was all like

I love this idea...that somehow the two timelines were overlapping, which could also mean that while she touched the girl who was standing in that spot at some point in the past, maybe in the past the girl felt herself being touched by a pair of hands from the future.

This is my favourite horror film...it completely quenched the thirst I have for horror which is very rarely ever filled.

That is so scary. I have goosebumps.
