I'll never forget, when I went to the theater and the trailer or Battleship showed up there was some decent feedback from the audience. People whispering "Oh what is this?", "Another Transformers?", "Crysis the movie?", "Rhianna!?". Then when the name Battleship came across the screen the whole theater laughed.

Exactly. How can it "turn some heads" if there isn't even any screenshots or gameplay of the title?

I wouldn't be surprised if they are saving that announcement for E3 during MS and Sony keynote. They show some footage then announce that it's a launch title for both next-gen consoles.
