FYI... For the North American market, the late 1980s to early 1990s Civic pictured actually had a 1.5L 92HP engine if it was a DX or LX. Only a base model (CX model in Canada) had 70-75HP.

So... 160 mile round trip cost $16 (cdn) in electricity. At the current average price of 1.34 liter (cdn) for gasoline ($5.36 gallon), that very close to 3 gallons of fuel. 160/3 = 53.333 mpg average. Not to mention coffee, newspapar and time spent.
What I learned from this: Quebec is an inhospitable frozen hell zone in winter.
My name is DrAngus24 and I don’t read the article before I post condescending self righteous diatribes.
then throws a drink out the window at me. In retrospect, dude was dangerous, and I should have let him in.
Of course, this isn’t a zipper merge, this is a person driving on the shoulder.
The dude in the video is driving on the shoulder. But thanks for the self-righteous explainer.
Yeah, this is one of those situations where I don’t really see a huge upside to deputizing yourself in order to enforce some minor traffic law.
They already have a factory here in Lafayette, IN that builds all the Outback, Legacy, Impreza, and Ascent models for the North American market. It’s been here since the ‘80s.
I still can’t for the life of me figure out why more mid to large size vehicles, think anything that can tow over 3000lbs, haven’t gone to an airbag based or at least assisted, rear suspension.
Note that Microsoft is not headquartered in Silicon Valley.
That’s not really a defense. They know what they’re doing, and there are still cars capable of fitting in most “compact” spots, such as Honda Civics, Corollas, etc, that don’t stick out six feet past the end of the spot.
OP’s statement:
I think the assumption here is that this is:
“Sono Motors is more a movement than a company.”
She literally lied. I don’t know how else to put this.
So, as it turns out, rechargeable batteries are in fact incredibly unreliable.
I like the chief engineer. He spouts various facts and observations about giving a real answer. That's perfect middle management talking style. If he had only wrapped it up with some talk about company values he could be an exec in no time.
Neutral: I’m always “planning” on buying a car “this year”!
When I actually convince the wife I need to do so, then I have trouble finding something I like more than the car I have... so I just keep driving that. (it’s a 2012 Golf R... so fun enough for me.. but it is a 2012 VW... so it’s not going to last forever!)
