I think it’s pretty shitty of them to nominate Ryan Kiera Armstrong. Haven’t seen the movie, I don’t care if she was terrible in it. She’s 12, she doesn’t deserve to be called out like this.

Doesn’t seem to be much circling tables excessively and doubling back on empty shelves in case they come across random screws or pills. Starting to doubt their commitment to the source material.

I mean, there’s a guy on the planet Arrakis called ‘Duncan Idaho’, and instead of running some sort of roadside attraction like his name would imply, he’s actually a super handsome swordmaster.

Kinda weird to mention that repairs cost more when in fact one of the biggest benefits of owning an EV is how much cheaper the maintenance is over time since EVs lack many of the parts that you’d have to replace on a gasoline vehicle. I do love how much time I save not needing to care about oil changes and smog checks.

I think it’s really a case of Drunk History looking a lot like History of the World, Part I.

It’s just the monthly roundup of what’s coming to a pass with monthly updates man, chill.

This is the kind of feel good story I needed right now, thanks!

“this is the Democrats' fault" was a take I somehow never expected yet here we are, I guess.

Ironic that there’s a photo of him ‘pretend’ beat up, and now there’s a photo of him *actually* beat up? Like, if Gary Sinese had lost his legs in a shark attack the week after he finished shooting “Forrest Gump”, where they... pretended he lost his legs?

Counterpoint: No, no they didn’t.

Remember Flynn’s from Tron? Just give me that with a full bar.

You may be in the minority, but you’re not alone. To me, it was very thin, but because it’s White Lotus (aka prestige TV), a lot of the thinness got passed off as purposeful. A lot of people read a lot of depth into the things that went unsaid, but in the end there wasn’t a lot of “there” there.

I agree. To me the hype with this series will die down and in a few years it will be revisited as not that great.

Totally agree. I found this finale offensive, cynical and borderlie homophobic. But then I’m an old romantic who doesn’t believe everyone is driven solely by narcissism.

What the hell are you buying? I buy admittedly way too much shit off of Amazon, and everything arrives in 2 days or less.

I hope the Cameron-Harper-Ethan-Daphne part of all this gets forgotten quickly. That whole storyline had me wishing more of them washed up on the beach (I know Daphne could not have as she was in the intro) I just despised the lot of them.

In the end, well-acted, nicely directed, but the undeveloped plots are a mile wide and half-an-inch thick. It’s not Love Boat” dreck, but it’s not Emmy-worthy brilliance like some people are screaming. Just go watch some classic films and compare the scenes and interplay between characters, or the evolution and

In theaters Nov 23, on Netflix Dec 23. Since it’s absolutely impossible for AV Club to include this shit anymore.

This will make me sound like a total asshat, but whatever. For as nice as that steak probably was to eat, those pictures don’t really do it much justice. Looks like you’re eating it in a GAP dressing room. That lighting is garish for this purpose and makes the steak look like you microwaved it. Color temp is important
