Dammit, I meant Tuesday. I knew it was the third episode, but forgot it started in Friday. And Monday was the good episode.
The Wednesday night episode was one of the worst hours of television I’ve ever seen. Just painfully, flop sweat inducing, unwatchably bad.
I found the 2nd episode much better than the first, although the pre-taped bits are still bafflingly unfunny, and not bizarre enough to be interesting.
This seemed to have kind of a “Magical Mystery Tour” vibe to it. Let’s get all these interesting people together, and something cool will surely follow. Doesn’t always work that way.
Yup. AV Club writers seem to constantly think that actors/comics owe them something specific, and then complain when that random expectation isn’t fulfilled. It’s bizarre.
And a few weeks later, Paramount fired their CEO.
Paramount streaming is doing so badly that they just fired Paramount’s CEO.
I haven’t seen Cross funny in anything since Arrested Development.
You forgot about Wallace Shawn?!?
Interesting, thanks.
I certainly don’t claim to know much about England’s libel/slander laws, but this seems like a pretty big admission that the publisher thinks the accusations against Cohen aren’t true.
I loved him in the first season, then quickly got bored of him. Didn’t help that the show got terrible around him as well.
And I don’t know about the “looks lovely”.
Yeah, it couldn’t decide if it wanted to be a murder mystery, or “The Usual Suspects”, and kinda failed at both.
Just a real dud of a show.
Yeah, the kids these days have been clamoring for some Popeye!
They should all play him, like in that Bob Dylan movie where multiple actors played the singer.
I think the Quarter Pounder and the Double Quarter Pounders are pretty tasty.
Maybe I missed it, but did the article ignore the Double Quarter Pounder, which has been available for a while, at least in my market.
