Except that’s it’s intelligently written and has lots of strong female characters, which should turn most of them off.  

Except that makes no sense. A sports fan cares about the win/loss record, period. 

It’s certainly a slow burn of a movie…I loved the weird, quirky performances and the script that’s all over the place, but I can certainly see that it may not be everyone’s cup of tea  

It’s undone by the dull, unlikable characters, not the pace. 

The key being, “by the end.”

It looked terrible, to the point where I turned off the show, and loaded other apps on my Apple TV to see it it was my issue or theirs.

This is going to be a disaster if a fall school year…everyone is going to get it.

Carlsen has always been a gracious loser, praising people then they beat him, and encouraging young talent, which is why this is all so strange.

100% percent true. But at the same time, doesn’t there have to be a line between being creepy, and being accused of sexual assault?
