She seems like one of those actors who genuinely loves acting and isn't much of a careerist. I know another commenter a while back said she was a bit like Jennifer Jason Leigh: a great talent and beauty with a knack for choosing odd, unflattering projects.
Man, I know it is pretty premature, but I hope she has a role that wins her a slew of awards.
Part of it is general ageism (her big break in Mulholland Drive was when she was in her early 30s, which is impressive in its own right), part of it is she has always chosen more odd, unflattering projects than the blander vehicles that could get her more attention. It's a special vitamin!
A possible two seasons of Naomi Watts, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Laura Dern all together in a David Lynch-directed project?!
What about the same 8 or 9, but 8 or 9 times?
Wowza!
Noooooooooooooooo, not another series!
