Love huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurts!

Are you too fucking busy and vice versa?

How many of his books have you read?

I'm thinking pad Thai will be on the horizon today or tomorrow.

Nope, only Swag and Rum Punch. I did really like Out of Sight (the film), so perhaps that'll be a good summer read.

I really enjoy his political writing for The Independent and The Guardian and I must read Chavs and The Establishment. It looks like just my kind of fiery sociological discourse/rant!

Drinks at The Blowhole for all!

Swag, my first Elmore Leonard novel, which I read on my flight yesterday. Also reading Rum Punch and will be starting Significant Others and Sure of You this week.

Fuck the fact my phone was lost or stolen a few days ago!

On vacation/holiday/sabbatical and I have found a replacement phone that works in both the UK and the US!

Hello there! I'm doing okay, minus a bit of jet lag (back in the States for a few days; haven't seen my family in seven months).

You're here! You're here!

He is a rather perfect example of jolie laide.

Go figure such a peculiar looking fellow would have one of the most beautiful daughters out there.

With something like Asylum, it became a genuinely good, albeit hot mess, bit of television. American Crime was just great, through and through. The finale hit all the right, brutal, despairing notes, without feeling like a didactic wallow.

Few can play terrifying yet pitiable quite like Kinski.

Personally, I think Vikander shouldn't have received a nomination for The Danish Girl, but a Supporting Actress nomination for Ex Machina, For Mara's replacement, I would have gone with a wild card choice like May Taylor for Tangerine.

I do think they should have been placed in the Best Actress category (only saw Mara's performance, can't speak to Vikander's work). It was bullshit, pure and simple.

Top it off with a screening of The Servant too.

I remember seeing an interview with Helena Bonham Carter where she said she approached playing the Fairy Godmother as someone who was so old she didn't have all of her marbles (hence, why the slipper was made of glass, etc).
