Perhaps another reread will be the charm.

Core Stoll out out suits…
I'm so sorry to hear you're feeling ill. Big hugs your way! Feel better soon!
While it's sad King doesn't get more mainstream recognition and honor for his Richard Bachman-penned novels, it must have felt pretty nice that he got to have two careers at one point. More chances to experiment!
How did she like Black Mirror?
Fair enough. I thought that final moment put the whole final third in a new light, but I can still see why the seminar speech would pull the over grade down a bit.
I'll likely give it at least one or two tries, but everything about it felt so cartoonish but weirdly smug. Granted, it's been a few years, so perhaps I'll finally be able to see what all the fuss is about.
Cold Comfort Farm is one of my favorite comic novels. The film adaptation may not be the very best I've seen, but it's still so witty and fun.
Lisa is a character that could be so one-note, but JJL gives her so much depth with the littlest voice changes. I particularly loved her moment where she sings 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.'
Justified is a fantastic series. Personally, I think the even-numbered seasons are its best.
Means Streets is a film that I greatly admired as a time capsule. Scorsese has such a great eye to the rhythms of its setting, as a viewer, you feel immersed.
As for The Bonfire of the Vanities, while I hear the film is terrible and a terrible adaptation (your excellent review seems to confirm this), I have tried multiple times over the years to read the novel and I just can't do so. Give me Martin Amis' Money: A Suicide Note as the definitive 80s novel about greed.
Ice Cream Planet's LiveJournal™:
*Happy New Year AV Clubbers! Hope you had a nice time and your hangovers aren't too excruciating.
*I spent my first New Year's Eve outside of Minneapolis and… it was solid. I think most holidays/Designated Fun Days™ aren't really for me; I prefer the more spontaneous variety, instead of…
You're telling me. I'm all for showing kids films that capture the uglier side of human nature but that film is one that could have waited a few years.
I still need to see Georgia and even I'm pissed she didn't get a Best Actress nomination.
I really, really hope so! It's such perfect casting!
I'm really excited. I hope she has a nice big role.
That she is: http://deadline.com/2015/10…
Your cousin and her mother should watch Flesh and Bone at some point!
Have you seen her in Last Exit to Brooklyn? She was phenomenal in that film.
