I really hope Michaela Cole becomes a big star. She is so gifted as both an actor and a writer.

Other?!
Ejiofor should have won Best Actor for 12 Years A Slave, and Michael Fassbender should have won Best Supporting Actor. Instead both lose to the vacuous performances in the infuriatingly stupid Dallas Buyers Club.

*This has been one of those week's that has been revoltingly good. It started with getting accepted to University of Westminster's Talent Bank scheme (thereby hopefully making my job search easier; already found a few opportunities that look interesting) and ended with a lovely part…
Thank you!
Well… I'm curious to read Dolores Claiborne.
Hey, that was a pop song that was way better that it had any right to be. It's the song they should have played during the ending of Suffragette.
A big fan of 'Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves' I take it?
Martin Amis, more of Scorsese's classics, and The Red Shoes all immediately spring to mind. Same with fantastically depressing 80s British dramas like Boys from the Blackstuff and The Monocled Mutineer.
It makes me wonder what version he saw, for the exact reason you listed.
D'Angelo also thinks Macbeth is Shakespeare's bloodiest play (not Titus Andronicus), so his grasp on the material and the film seems a bit suspect. Like Dellarigg, I saw it earlier in England and while there is definitely some rearranging that went on in the adaptation process, it wasn't omitted.
That confused me too. Either D'Angelo fell asleep or isn't terribly familiar with the play?
They are both fantastic here. I loved how Cotillard brought an empathetic undercurrent to Lady Macbeth, who is often portrayed as simply icy and remote.
Pumpkin pie with toasted marshmallow topping for all!
She thought you were that funny?
It's all about pacing or asking the Make a Wish foundation for a little orphan whose organs you can harvest.
Better yet, Fisher is greatly funny and a wonderful memoirist to boot. Perhaps you'll enjoy her. If not, hopefully your mum will.
Fuck yeah, burlesque!
Are you sure you don't want a peek? Just for a quick second? ;)
