The storyline is a metaphor, like a lot of Buffy storylines, for things that happen to you in high school. In this case, “I slept with my boyfriend and now he’s acting differently.” It’s very clear that Buffy did nothing wrong and the bad guy is Angelus.

As long as Routh’s Superman is basically the Kal-L in this and gets to deliver that final blow to the Anti-Monitor, I’ll be happy. I’ve been waiting 13 years to see Routh as Clark again. Finally.

“Luke and Vader did not have an epic fight in Empire

Europe had hundreds of Kingdoms in Italy alone at one point but that didn’t stop from only two or three being important. That is likely the case here.

“House Irrelevance” shirts would sell like hot (Pie) cakes.

Thankfully, this will have a different showrunner, Jane Goldman, who co-wrote a bunch of Matthew Vaughn’s movies, including Stardust, X-Men: First Class, and the two Kingsmen movies.

isn’t this what we want?

Listen, just because she has a horde of world-conquring riders based on the Genghis Khan’s brutal juggernaut, and just because she has a cadre of elite (former) slave soldiers completely loyal to her and incapable of procreation, and just because she gives impassioned speeches under black and red banners about an

Jon was always meant to be a King. Just not all of Westeros. He’s the King Beyond The Wall. The Man who saved the Free Folk from extinction and was murdered for it. The guy the Free Folk fought for at the Battle of the Bastards even though they were the last of their kind. The Man that the last giant died for. Jon was

GRRM has written many, MANY things. A Song of Fire & Ice is literally a fraction of what he has produced, but it’s clearly the work for which history will remember him. Whatever he produces will be studied and pored over.  If it were me, I’d be damned sure my last book was nothing less than the perfect words in the

Of all the issues with the closing of various storylines, Jamie and Cersei’s ending has got be the least problematic. People try to leave toxic relationships but often fail to; deaths are rarely as clean or poetic as we hope. I thought them dying together, albeit fairly pathetically like anyone could, made as much

Honestly, I understand where the people saying that this has been Dany’s trajectory since S1 are coming from, but if it really has been, they’ve done a very poor job of expressing it. Yes, we’ve known for basically the entire run of the series that she’s had these prophecies laid out for her that very well could end

I think Varys in the books is an extremely different story, though. He literally kills Kevan Lannister because he’s doing too good of a job, and he needs chaos for Young Griff/Aegon (Blackfyre, if you ask me), so I think his motivations are definitely a lot muddier. The show seems to want you take Varys at face value

Oh, FFS.

How about “Giant-wightsbane”?

When it comes to Spider-Ham, it’s always good to leave audiences bacon for more.

The Lovecraftian pedant in me cringes at the title, since it should be spelled “Colour.”

This one is Luke and this other one is named Luuke.
