The second gen is awesome - easily one of the best cars I’ve ever owned. It has sold me on PHEVs. I’m probably going to pick up an X5 xDrive40e in the next 1-2 months to replace my 09 Escape hybrid. When the EV infrastructure exists, I’ll transition, but for now, PHEVs are the bomb diggity.
