The interior of the Onxy comes with waterproof seat fabric so it will be super easy to wash poodle prints from. Problem solved!

The BRZ is offered in a traditional automatic.

Toughest part about flying so close to the open-wheel cars (as an example) would be the massive aero wake they create. I can image a drone getting tossed around pretty badly having an F1 car rip past directly beneath it. That said, I hope they try and it works. Love this stuff.

The last turbo Supra sold outside Japan was in 1998 (21 years)! The NA one was sold until 2002 - but really, who cares about that? Man, that makes me feel old!

I laughed. Perfect response.

There’s the sad truth.

Why is it that every review of this car I’ve read has failed to make any mention of the Impreza? Literally this cars only direct competitor. Did Mazda specifically say not to? I don’t understand.

Finally, more aftermarket options for my car!

Fair. I have a colleague who drives a BRZ with UEL headers and it sounds fantastic. Totally worth the money.

But why? Do you hate low centres of gravity? High revs? If you complain about the torque dip, you aren’t driving it properly. Just drop a gear and be happy with nice things.

Subaru’s DriverFocus system does basically the same thing (without taking control of your car) using largely the same technology already. It won AJAC’s 2019 “Best Safety Innovation” in Canada and no mention? :(

I completely agree but am just wondering what his take on it is. Sadly most buyers assume most AWD is created equal. Having worked at MB, Hyundai and Subaru I can certainly tell the difference (had many “proper” 4MATIC C-Classes, driven lots of slip-n-grip Hyundai AWDs and currently drive Subarus) but most common-folk

How does the AWD system compare to the one in the 5dr Impreza? Hopefully you have a chance to drive it somewhere you actually need more than FWD traction.

This would be right on pretty much any other car maker’s article. Subaru is the lone stand-out in great visibility. That being said this one might buck that trend if they keep the rear window kink.

I think when you’re doing 180, temporarily slowing to 179 to wait for a big enough gap isn’t going to make you late. Or just keep doing 179 if you want to avoid being a rolling roadblock as you’re implying. Whatever, if it keeps you up at night just buy a German car I guess...

If you think doing 180km/h on the Autobahn is abnormally slow that’s just not true. The Autobahn is only a mythical speedway in the minds of people who have never used it. Sure there are some 300km/h cars but the majority simply use it as a normal highway. Only about 15% average 175km/h or higher (per Wiki’s

I think they leave it unlatched intentionally like that to see if the seat actually breaks when it isn’t locked in properly.

The Subaru CVT is absolutely no worse than any of the other normal ATs out there. People need to forget the early Nissan CVTs and actually go drive something with a new one. Subaru has one of the best there is.

In that they are both brown? Both have a steering wheel, two seats and a screen? How much differentiation can you want in a normal sedan. I guess the AC vents have a similar shape but what else looks the Volt? These aren’t meant to be Tesla future-mobiles. They’re familiar, well executed, designs meant to appeal to

If the engine oil isn’t in the gearbox, no sale.” Amen.
