The op is under the impression that this pipeline is being built for oil wells that haven’t been built yet. That is what I was referring to, it’s just a different mode of transportation for oil that’s already being extracted. The pipeline is already 99% finished.

Because it won’t be environmentally disruptive or dangerous. It would actually be cleaner than current methods of transporting the oil being extracted. There is nothing fake about it.
