Yes you can still enter a serial number, this is to help assure customers that the 5 they’ve bought was not part of the program. But this program has finished. It’s been extended twice and was raised from 2 years to a 3 year time limit, to ensure that if you had a poor battery you could get it replaced.
That program ended ages ago.
