Assad is also fighting ISIS. So is Iran. So is Libya. Maybe Trump should start giving these governments top secret intelligence that the Israelis shared with us in confidence as well?
Apparently you missed the part where the Washington Post explained how the intelligence Trump shared could be enough for Russia/Syria/Iran to identify Israel’s source(s) inside Syria.
Also, given that fact that Russia considers anyone fighting against Assad to be part of ISIS, they are not our allies in the region.
Here’s the issue. Trump revealed information to Russia about an informant in ISIS controlled territory. ISIS isn’t going to be controlling that territory much longer and there’s a really, really good chance that Assad is. If they can pinpoint that informant, the chances of him or her being alive in a year’s time are…

Seriously, it doesn’t work like that. No matter how constructive it might even be for the Russians to have been told whatever-they-were-told, it wasn’t Trump’s secret to share.
Let me give you an example of what I heard fat mouth Rush say today in defense of the President and Republicans everywhere. Stop me please if you have heard this one before of course.

No. We HAVE to wait for Republicans in congress to feel a serious threat to their reelection chances. And that’s not going to happen until their constituents are freed from the the Fox News Matrix reality that they don’t even know that they’re stuck in.
That’s the point - it’s critical to keep Trump’s fuck-ups in the news, so that everyone doesn’t get a chance to forget.
