I find it ironic how incredibly western it looks.

I'm a huge sucker for this sort of thing, apparently.

@Harrison_Bergeron: I'd have gone with something like the TAR-21, CR-21 or F2000... But I really love me some future.

They still use SA80 based rifles in the future? Interesting.

I'd watch it.

@LittleDragon: "Thankfully, I don't shake hands with people who give me vegetables. It's a long story." He nodded along to her speech, listening intently and looking more and more disturbed.

@LittleDragon: "I come all this way, with those guys, after being left in meltytank... And you ask me if I remembered your lunch box? DID I REMEMBER YOUR LUNCH BOX?! Who do you think you are talking to? Of course I did." He proffered it up, in remarkably good condition.

@genicide4u: I get what they're supposed to look like. I just don't get why the demarcation between the two in the real life clothing aspect is so thin when it should be jarring. Most of the time it just seems like the main difference is the amount of brass on their goggles and how much brown they are wearing.

@RizzRustbolt: That's a delight, and I ken to the distinction. But when I use the google on it, dieselpunk provides me with a metric shitton of stuff that looks like steampunk unless it is drawn art or the occasional motorcycle. I find that it is visually indistinguishable from steampunk when transferred into the

@33rd°: I could go for some more Art Deco in my life.

@AndwuH: cyberfunk? I know what I'm going to comic-con dressed as next year.

Having just spent a solid ten minutes on the google trying to find pictures of someone who is definitely dieselpunk, I have two statements to make.

@LittleDragon: He yanked the sign out of the mens hands and put it on himself. The two that had been "helping" him seemed satisfied with that and went to join the circle, chanting their odd business-natter. He spotted a crowbar, picked it up and hefted a few times to get a feel for it and then went to explore the

@LittleDragon: He looked over the men. They were nuts, certainly. There were also way more of them than him, and they had the drivable vehicle that was still taking him towards where he wanted to go. He nodded very slowly and took the sign and bag from the man.

@LittleDragon: "No, No. I'm fine. I'm just... er, out for a walk." He waved a hand dismissively. The driver kept staring at him, like he still expected an answer. Shini turned and continued his slog back to the base.

@LittleDragon: Shini snaps awake, still strapped into the driver's seat upside down in the largely melted tank screaming in terror, "I READ IT ALL!"

I was going to make a tl;dr joke here, but everyone beat me to it.

I... Like the Moomins. I'm not sure why, but I do. But I like a lot of TV from that era, too. Weird. I did not consciously know that about myself.

@Shin-san: Seriously, I hope they've gotten everyone they can on board to do something like this... It'll suck for the viewers who aren't playing, but not as bad as stereoscopic 3d.
