@RedRaptor: Anything that adds more multiplayer co-op to a game is fine by me. I never manage to get people to play H3's campaign with me on live so this makes me real happy.

@Salen: I know. The helmet is neat but my wife doesn't like it staring at her from the book case so the dust cover stays on. Not a problem with a controller.

@emwurst: Ain't that the weirdest thing? I'm not really that into the Beatles but I still am excited about this game and I'm not sure why.

@Shadowguitar: I appreciate the inclusion of the dimensions of the controller right there on the front. You never know when it'll come in handy!

@Salen: It's nice to get something functional with the collectors edition for once. Figurines, gold guns and maps I look at once are all well and good, but this is something I've been waiting for.

If Microsoft can get a company to make a dating game for this, they will sell millions in Japan.

...I have no mouth, and I must scream.

Well, as long as it's cheap... Mmm, probably not even then.

My current car is often called Bird Magnet, as it has been struck by several birds. Side impacts, all of them.

Every time I see something like this, I really want to be able to call in an airstrike right on their groins.

@vwbugirl: @The Boulevard of Broken Queens: There is no vehicle in existence that says 'child molester' more than a plain white van. Whoever owns the vehicle you have in the picture there is no doubt very special, but not a child molester.

Delightful placement of the GH logo... Not suggestive at all.

@outsilver: That's madness. I only have like 5 extensions with 4 tabs open and I'm running at 188mb and it's been running for 3 days.

I got my hands on an ARC and it's a good read. It's urban fantasy, for those who care, and that blurb doesn't do it justice at all.

Fear away, huh. I don't think I really need anything like that but I guess it wouldn't hurt to buy it. My wife probably needs it too. And my cat.

@shin212: So you didn't actually run the beta at all, huh?

I believe Kotaku's sister site Lifehacker has a fine writeup on dual booting the beta, and Win 7 has treated me very well since I got it. Flips between the XP and Win 7 beta partitions with no issue. It's at least as fast as my XP partition and much prettier. Everything runs great so far, no crashes and no problem and

@rmric0: That's what I was going to say. Though I would go ahead and load the pre-tied stem between cheek and teeth so that you don't need to palm anything. You can just eat the untied stem. It's like magic!

I fell asleep or blacked out driving on I5 during the morning commute once for about five miles. I woke up when I didn't put the transmission in gear while I was getting off at my exit and tried to accelerate after the curve in the ramp.
