Synergy is awesome; the only thing it can't do is the dishes. However I much prefer Synergy+ to plain-vanilla synergy as it's still actively developed

@orderfromchaos: Frankly I find this whole "war on personal data disclosure" trend amongst computer nerds (in which I humbly include myself) quite ridiculous. Keeping your history and private info is useful when browsing. Having some sort of controlled web-presence is important as well. People are going to find stuff…

@artis: meh, no neck and head support equals uncomfortable chair for this tall fellow. That chair by guesstimation would be right under my shoulder blades, not really comfy IMO.

looks nice but frankly I would of traded all that fancy decor for a nice chair instead.

@FunkyMonkey: I adore and venerate the PX 100 but sturdiness is NOT one of their qualities. Go on amazon and look at the reviews, most pairs don't last over 6 months-1 year.

Thanks for all the ideas! Media center seems interesting will think it out. last time I started shopping for a PC in feburary-march, ended up buying it in September with all that comparative shopping business and review reading.
