Um... PS3 already requires you to install games on the HDD and you can still trade those in. My guess is that you can buy a dl license for the game and then just install it from a friends copy rather than having to wait a week to download it.

It did, which was pretty cool at first. But the lag spikes would often leave you dead from being unable to find cover as like 5 people shot at you, which got pretty frustrating. Still, the other glitches were kinda fun, and I would like to see the concept revisited in other games.
They're no longer working on Stalker? That makes me sad :(
Civ II, from what I've played
I'm not sure about the others, but I believe Brutal Legend had to have a lot of content cut. So much content, they were already working on a sequel to put the content in. My guess is that with these games, Schafer wants to go back and do all the things he wanted to do but couldn't.
The Xbox SDK is free already and has been for quite some time. It's actually a great set of tools, imho, because they allow you to use the same code and resources to create Xbox, Windows Phone, and Windows games. All you have to do to move from one platform to another is remap the controls, change the resolution, and…
Heck, I bet some programmer did this on purpose. Good job to him!
Well, hopefully this means that they are going to produce well made and crafted Star Wars games, instead of cheap and fast cash grabs.
Came here to say the same thing. This could be wonderful if done right.
I was upset at this news right up to the point where they said BioWare, Visceral, and Dice would be the ones making Star Wars games. They are great studios with a history of making great games. TBH, this is the best we could have hoped for.
Now when the other devs get their hands on Star Wars...
I'm not sure, but if I was flying myself I'd go for a surplused MiG or a L-39. Cheap(for a jet), fairly common, and most can break the sound barrier!
IX is definitely in my top 3.
See, I'm wondering about this. I am working on a Xbox indie game in my spare time, and part of the FAQ for indie developers specifically states "You can submit updates to your apps/games at no cost." I guess it might be different for full or arcade titles, Microsoft specifically mentions they are treated differently.…
Well, I'm not sleeping tonight. Not after seeing these pictures.
Almost as bad as Man From LOX...
