But that 935 does look bad-ass.

I’m not sure they need to.

Which means the balance for an ICE vehicle is financed at zero interest, with no defined payments, overall balance, or payment date. A person can even eliminate some of that cost if they park the car and don’t drive, like in a pandemic.

Exactly. I haven’t inherited anything, but ironically because we both had kids young in prior marriages, we were ready to downsize houses and move on to the next phase. My coworkers were buying $30K plus Accords and $50K plus Odysseys; I bought a $20K 911.

That honestly never gets old.

Good thing it’s not a Tesla. You didn’t pay for the light version; Elon would over the air that 12 pounds right back in.

Well that sucks. Have a star. It’s all we’ve got.

I’m with you. I sold a largely paid off truck and bought a much cheaper fun 20 year old car for a daily driver. It would be a lot for me for a toy, but it’s not a toy. In my late forties with no kids at home, I said “fuck it.” and bought something I wanted that was cheaper than what I had. No regrets.

Yes. That paragraph was in reference to long distance motorcycling. Wearing earplugs while riding is not only accepted, but a recommended way of minimizing fatigue and preventing hearing damage. Everyone should ride with earplugs.

There was no way I was going to make a blanket statement like that here.

I also had a 1986 B2000 in about the same spec. When the tank rusted along a seam and I could only put in a half tank of gas I sold it. I liked it, it got great mileage, but as a guy with a family, it only worked because my wife had a sedan.

A passenger side mirror was often an option too. I think when people talk about how cheap some of these trucks were they have no idea how decontented they were. My buddy bought a brand new S10 in 1992, no rear bumper, no radio, one outside mirror. And after a few months, no paint on the horizontal surfaces.

Of course I do, I was literally agreeing with the guy who said, “you think the passenger in the Tacoma would’ve been able to pull that if he was black?”

I confused. I totally agree. I was literally agreeing with the guy who said, “you think the passenger in the Tacoma would’ve been able to pull that if he was black?”

I did leave myself open for an Archer jpg there.

I do like a nice mayo based potato salad with a bit of dill. That’s second on my potato salad hierarchy behind a nice hot German. Mustard based may actually be called out in the Geneva Convention. I’m not a picky eater, but I’ve never understood why anyone would eat mustard potato salad when the others exist. I have

BTW, I believe German is the third most spoken language in Texas.

I saw that, and thought, “What the fuck did the passenger have to do with it?”

Middle aged white guy here, and I thought the same thing.

Truth. I’m looking for an old Jeep and a small boat soon. To some this sounds predatory, but to the person who needs the money it’s a godsend that someone is buying.
