I’m with you. I sold a largely paid off truck and bought a much cheaper fun 20 year old car for a daily driver. It would be a lot for me for a toy, but it’s not a toy. In my late forties with no kids at home, I said “fuck it.” and bought something I wanted that was cheaper than what I had. No regrets.

A passenger side mirror was often an option too. I think when people talk about how cheap some of these trucks were they have no idea how decontented they were.
