If they didn’t reshoot Rogue One to toss in some fan service in the form of Vader and CGI Leia, people would complain about that movie too. As I stated elsewhere, Force Awakens and Last Jedi were well received by critics and made tons of money so the movies did just fine by most. It’s just a very vocal minority gets

Yep. It was a fun lil’ space movie. That’s pretty much all I need Star Wars to be.

Main characters have arcs. Other characters act as foils or engines to move the plot along. Do you really expect every character to be fully developed? That's not how this works. That's not how any of this works.

“It had the worst scene in all of Star Wars, Canto Bight (most people who like it even admit this)

It had the main character learning things in mere hours that took “The Chosen One” years to learn.

People who claim this movie ruined Star Wars but didn’t make the same claim of Phantom Menace or Attack of the Clones are full of shit.  At the end of the day, this is somewhere between the 3rd and 8th best Star Wars movie depending on your taste. It has some amazing moments and some subpar - just like every Star Wars

“What are you confused about?

Same. I absolutely loved it and it is still far and away my favorite Star Wars film.

I feel like I’m in the Twilight Zone when I read the various negative reactions to this film. Like, I genuinely do not understand how we saw the same film

“ because it’s a structurally questionable movie with some bad writing and underdeveloped (or underused) characters.”

This is a losing tactic, and it’s going to backfire spectacularly.

What are you going to do, you keyboard coward? It really irks me to read a blogger preaching violence, encouraging people to put themselves in harm’s way while you sit in an office or bedroom blogging away. You’re on the way to being the radio guys in Rwanda encouraging Hutus to slaughter the evil Tutsi.

He won the election though.

Undoubtedly, but the only way over that is to make the sacrifices necessary to vote.

To say it’s not “great” is not the same thing as saying it’s not present. There have been plenty of times our country has gone from having bad elected leadership that took the country in a bad direction to having good elected leadership that took it in a better direction. Never probably the “perfect” direction, but

Please, tell me all about all the things that Hilary Clinton stole.

A few thoughts.

Yes.

A well-designed political system would have a built-in feedback system to ensure that those making the decisions are also subject to the consequences of those decisions

Of course, how many of those domestic bombings that you speak troublingly starry-eyed of actually hurt/killed ONLY those they were “aimed” at or decreased their power in any way?
