I want to say it was Freshman or Sophomore year of high school (~1997) but one time someone blew through the bus stop sign only to turn down a side street. So obviously the bus follows the car to get the license plate. Meanwhile the entire bus is screaming out of the windows of the bus giving the driver of the car all

Right, like a triple-double in basketball. Usually points, assists, and rebounds. But can use blocks and/or steals in place of 1 or 2 of the others.

I had the Eclipse Cross as a rental car and it was one of the worst rental cars I have ever had. So terrible that it made me wish I had chosen the Buick Encore they offered me instead.

This is my answer as well. Honda is a close-ish 2nd. And then GM/Chevy third. I could waste the next hour giving the reasons for each, but quick breakdown...

Where do I say I am ok subsidizing EVs for billionaires? I am implicitly defending the IRA which places income limits on these subsidies. I’ll go beyond that implied support and straight up say I support the IRA and how it applies to EVs. Is it perfect, no. And I am more than fine with the income limits on EVs in the

I miss Snazzberry. But I also miss Honda Passport’s Black Copper Pearl and Civic Si’s Blazing Orange Pearl. And I like the Colorado’s Harvest Bronze, so I might not be the best judge of colors.

1) I do understand. Still not a dictatorship. Just because it came down to one person being the deciding vote does not mean it is actually up to just one person. Because that one person is not actually the deciding vote...there are 99 others (in this case) who are just as easily the deciding vote. He just happened

1) It wasn’t one politician as it passed both the Senate and the House of Representatives. We don’t have a dictatorship.

The goal of this legislation was to bring battery production to the US, not necessarily to make cars cheaper. If making cars cheaper was the sole goal we would have reduced the barriers to entry, not made them harder. This was more about protecting jobs and fighting a geo-political struggle with China than making

Of course that is probably true. But I believe the government should step in and regulate such things especially when things like income, job, and education are most often out of ones control. Ok, credit is likely in ones control, especially with the changes to how medical debt affects your credit (still does, but

Keep your tank 1/4 of a tank full

Massachusetts (maybe a few other states too) does not allow insurance companies to use credit as a basis for insurance rates. Also bans a bunch of other factors that have no bearing on how good of a driver you are (income, job, education).

You should try NHOU (New Hampshire Oil Undercoating). Not saying you should try it because I know it works. Want you to try it and then report back.

Reverse: How come everything you read describes the Titanic as having ‘watertight compartments’ when they were anything but watertight...water could, and did, flow over the top.

I mostly agree with this statement. But around me it seems a lot of them (yuppies) are buying the plug-in Wrangler also.

I should watch this movie again, because I remember kinda liking it. Though, often movies that I watched when I was much younger don’t stand the test of time so it easily could have sucked. I mostly remember it kinda of being self-deprecating towards action movies. So whether it was good or not, I do respect the

2nd Gear: Tesla feels that the EPA rules don’t go far enough...Wait shouldn’t libertarian Musk be opposed to government intervention? Does he flip a coin on which government policies are bad? That’s sarcasm...we all know the coin he flips is ‘heads I win, tails you lose’ with regard to the government. When government

I knew I read an article saying this, but mistakenly thought it was about Japan. It actually was South Korea…

Exactly this. Defeatism is in no way helpful. Don’t let perfection be the enemy of good.

It will be interesting to see how battery recycling will factor into this in the future. Probably a number of years away but the ability to recycle these materials could help as well if that process is less fossil fuel dependent than the mining process.
