Spending a few million on R+D on something that may or may not come to fruition is not going ‘all-in’. Companies do that all the time. If anything they went ‘all-in’ on hybrids as almost every model they offer has a hybrid variant. That is looking like a plus these days.

Right. This is the problem with the ‘good guy with a gun’ theory (feel free replace ‘guy’ and ‘gun’ with ‘gal’ and ‘knife’). If you have a gun and come upon a situation where people are shooting, who do you know to shoot? And then say somehow you do know who to shoot, what happens when someone else (or the police)

Right. People always assume complex = non-reliable and that simple = reliable. Often not true. Plus, EV batteries aren’t that simple when you look at the manufacturing process.

I am shocked, shocked I say, to learn that this guy is a Republican. /s

This is subjective of course, but when you combine the quality of vehicles and the size of the company, it is easy to argue that Toyota knows what it is doing more than anyone else. (VW and Stellantis larger, but come on...quality?). Yet, when Toyota says this exact thing about hybrids, everyone is like ‘Toytoa

People who don’t drive much should absolutely not buy a BEV. They will never drive enough miles to offset the larger upfront cost or gain the benefit of reduced maintenance. And even from an environmental perspective, a gas vehicle ‘hardly’ driven is better than a BEV ‘hardly’ driven, when you, like the article

What would prevent some eco-conscious individual from purposefully putting bad tunes out there...asking for a friend of course.

I can form arguments and type really fast. Or is it fastly? So it didn’t take much time.

Am I in the position of telling people what they are allowed to like/dislike? I am not sure someone arguing that it is ok to spew hate at Nickelback should be asking that question. Seems like those people have a very strong opinion toward what music people should/shouldn’t listen to.

If they are so inoffensive, then why the hate? Just don’t listen to them. By your logic then it is ok to ‘hate’ vanilla ice cream. I think vanilla ice cream is boring as hell. But I don’t rant and rave about it. I just don’t eat it. And just like if vanilla ice cream was the only ice cream, I would eat it, likewise if

My feelings toward the Aztec are similar to my feelings towards the band Nickelback. Both receive way more hate than they should. Like that hate toward each is just over-the-top out of proportion to the level of criticism deserved. I am not saying you need to like each, but people act like the Aztec/Nickelback

I think the Subaru Impreza is vastly underrated car. Especially in 5-door guise. Yes, in no way is it an enthusiast car. But it is cheap. Well put together. Comfortable going down the road (though a little twitchy on the highway). Has AWD (if you are in to that sort of thing). Reliable in recent years. But the biggest

I did something similar. I took the slow Amtrak from Boston to New York and then back to Boston in the same day. But I was even stupider because I was getting reimbursed. It was for a job interview, so I assume I was thinking that I would impress them by not spending too much. I ended up not getting the job (offer),

Interesting...I didn’t realize he did it for Daytona too. Now I think both parties are doubly wrong. NASCAR for not catching it the first time. And Logano’s team for trying it twice without approval.

I am just going by the article...

I went to a dealership recently (only reason was that it was very close to my house) and this BS is 1) exactly what I expected to happen and 2) exactly how it happened. I got pissed for all these reasons and just left....hey great job you pissed me off with your BS and I will now never consider a car from your

I don’t know why he is ‘embarrassed’ by it. I think it was a great idea. NASCAR has always been about bending rules. Yeah, maybe they overstepped the limit, but they knew there was this possibility. I do disagree with the penalty though. They should have just banned it from that point on. It isn’t worse than Ross

I question this too. As I stated in the slideshow, I have no issue with the adaptive control. It seems to operate like every other car I have driven that has it. Are there complaints (doesn’t follow closely enough, need to be all the way in the next lane when passing to speed up)? Yes, but that is par for the course.

I’m not sure anyone accused Eccelstone of being ‘wrong’ about F1. It was all other areas that he was wrong about. Like the time he praised Hitler. Or said democracy got western countries no where. Or the multiple instances of racism and misogyny. Or the multiple tax avoidance schemes. And that is just stuff I

Everyone who buys a gun for self-defense (and every police officer) should be asked this question under oath... “When you wake up in the morning do you hope today is the day you get to use your gun, or do you fear today is the day you have to use your gun.” Only people (and potential officers) who hope to never have
