It is always a weird thing that people frame as a complaint. All the 2d marios from the past 20 years (or more) have been like this. They have difficult stuff there for people who want it, but you can skip it if you want it to be easy. Or if you’re, you know, a small child. My nephew is super in to Mario games, but

I think its perfect for folks with kids (like Mario odyssey). I can play it with Mario and badgeless and the game is a bit easy (until the bonus levels)

The low difficulty doesn’t bother me one bit.

Another example of some cutbacks is that very small details—soda cans in trash bins, newspapers lying on rooftops—aren’t as nice looking up close as they were in the original game. Similarly, the level of detail of the city seems reduced. So when you climb up a skyscraper and look out you’ll notice, on close

I think the traffic amount was based on the Raytracing modes, but it seems they’re comparing Fidelity to Fidelity, so this is impressive. Personally I stuck to raytraced perf mode, and thought Remaster was quite the looker. Very pumped for tomorrow.

I’ve put off getting Cult of the Lamb on PS5 for an opprotune sale. I think I’ll just grab it today. This is a kind move from the publisher that shouldn’t be as bold as it is.

It’s probably wise that you guys disabled comments in the Hasanabi story, but you guys should mention somewhere in the article that *almost* half a million dollars is a drop in the bucket and will do little to slow down a country who is authorized to break international law on days ending with “y”

SquareEnix:  "300 million copies?  What a financial disappointment."

Sounds almost as stupid as you getting mad about it.

I can’t tell if you’re trying to make a point that the original PS5 came with a stand so it’s crazy that this one sells it separately or if you really just didn’t notice the disclaimer that the slim is going to sell the vertical stand separately. I’d like to believe the former, but somebody also responded that the old

Thankfully I had space to just sit it on the top shelf next to my tv.

the original ps5 is actually not glossy, lol. it’s matte white with a texture. only the black center is glossy.

Yeah, it’s always struck me as bizarre when people act like the only value of GP lies in first-party games. The vast majority of games I play on GP are third-party.

Which would be nice, as I like having a reason to pay for Game Pass every month.

I know the article says 30% smaller, but as an owner of the current disc drive version, just looking at them visually, it really doesn’t look significantly smaller at all.

Minecraft

Looking forward to this eventually happening. I’m sure as hell not paying $70 for CoD or any Blizzard game but I’ll definitely try them out on GP. Same goes for Crash Bandicoot, THPS, etc.

It’s ad-block. I have a half dozen or so YouTube ads for Phantom Liberty every day.

Imagine spending more money that Rockstar did on RDR2 and all you could come up with was a mediocre Far Cry.

All NPCs now scale to your level. Enemy difficulty is no longer dependent on what area of Night City you’re in.
